Welcome!
Located 5 miles from downtown Moscow, Idaho on 8.35 acres along the south fork Palouse River (it’s more like a creek), this bed and breakfast offers a tranquil park-like setting with unique accommodations provided by a mongolian style yurt, a more traditional hotel-style room and an RV site. All of our accommodations are separate from our residence providing unmatched privacy for a bed and breakfast. The yurt is located directly adjacent to a large, multi-use building which includes the hotel-style room, a breakfast room and an ADA qualified bathroom and shower. The RV site offers even more privacy and a serene setting and is available on a nightly, weekly and monthly basis.

On site you will find a hiking trail (< 5 minute walk) that leads to Robinson County park, which is adjacent to our property and has 40 acres of fields and woodland including a baseball diamond, picnic facilities and playground.

The previous owners of this property lived here for over 30 years and it is obvious that they invested a lot into making it the beautiful place that it is now. In addition to various improvements and additions to the log house and other structures on the property, the creek was completely restored by Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute in 2005. This work included the revegetation of approximately 10,867 square feet of stream bank with various grasses, trees and shrubs and the creation of two large wetlands to control erosion.

In addition to our family, Little River is home to several fish species, muskrats, beaver, moose, deer, coyote, owls, turkey, pheasant, quail, lots and lots of hummingbirds and our two dogs. Depending on the season and circumstance we occasionally have a horse or two in the pasture as well.

Come on over and enjoy this little piece of palouse paradise with us.
Recent customer testimonial:

"I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay with you. Even though the snow caught us a bit by surprise, it only added to the magical feel of the surroundings. Somehow I felt like I was staying in a circus tent in the middle of the forest. Wonderful! The accommodations were perfect and we couldn't have been happier"- Sandra P.
